Embark on your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park as our driver/guide picks you up from Kampala City or Entebbe Airport. Receive a briefing about your 4-day trip before setting o on a 6-7 hours’ drive. Enjoy a stopover at the equator for photos and exploration of craft shops. Another stop at Igongo Cultural Center for lunch oers a view of animal and people’s sculptures, a museum visit, and shopping. Continue the journey via Mbarara, Bushenyi, and Fort Portal to reach Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival, experience a night game drive in the Ishasha sector, known for tree-climbing lions. Check-in, refresh, and dine at Mweya Safari Lodge (Luxury), Park View Safari Lodge (Mid-range), or Pumba Safari Lodge (Budget).
Meal Plan: Full Board
Start the day with an early breakfast, followed by a morning game drive on Kasenyi Plains. Spot elephants, bualoes, lions, hyenas, and various bird species. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, connecting Lake George and Lake Edward. The cruise provides views of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, waterbucks, and diverse birdlife. Return to the lodge for dinner.

Begin your third day with an early breakfast, then transfer to Kyambura Gorge for chimpanzee trekking, located in the northeastern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Led by an experienced guide, trekking takes 2-3 hours or longer, depending on chimpanzee family locations. Spend an hour observing and learning about chimpanzee behavior. Return to the lodge for lunch. Visit Lake Katwe Salt Works for a tour of rock salt extraction and, time permitting, drive to Lake Munyanyange for bird watching. Freshen up and have dinner at your chosen lodge.

Commence your last day with breakfast, check-out of the lodge, and meet the guide for a final morning game drive in the park. Spend 3 hours exploring and capturing any missed animals. Depart the park and journey to Kampala, passing through tea plantations and having lunch in Fort Portal. Continue via Mubende, arriving in Kampala early evening. Drop-os can be arranged at Entebbe International Airport, Kampala, or your preferred lodge.
