Nyangi African Safaris Terms & Conditions

1. Booking and Confirmation:

A. Reservation:

Safaris reservation shall be made by submitting a reservation request through our official website, email, or contacting our reservation team directly. All safari reservations are subject to availability, and a detailed quotation shall be provided.

A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure your booking, and the deposit is to be paid within 5 days of confirming the reservation.

The balance must be paid no later than 30 days prior to the safari departure date.

Please note that for trips that are less than or equal to USD 2,000 full payments is required to confirm trip

B. Confirmation:

Your reservation is confirmed upon receipt of the deposit and or completed payment.

We reserve the right to cancel the booking if full payment is not received by the specified date or circumstances of force majeure

C. Group Bookings:

Group bookings require a separate set of terms and conditions, and a group coordinator must be designated for communication purposes.

 

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy:

A. Cancellation by Client:

Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the safari date shall be subjected to 50 % refund, and those made between 29 – 15 days shall be eligible to 30%.

Cancellations made within 14 days to the safari are non-refundable.

Once the safari has commenced, no refunds will be provided for services that have been missed or remain un used.

Any requests for changes or cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by Nyanji African Safaris. The company shall be liable for damages of any nature arising from alternations or cancellation. Nyanji African Safaris will at all times exercise due diligence and best efforts to mitigate any disruption.

B. Cancellation by Nyanji African Safaris

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel the safari, a full refund will be provided.

We are not liable for any consequential expenses incurred by the client due to the cancellation.

 

3. Changes to the Itinerary:

A. Alterations:

We reserve the right to alter the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, force majeure events, or events beyond our control.

Every effort will be made to provide a comparable alternative, and clients will be informed promptly.

B. Client Approval:

Any significant changes to the itinerary will be communicated to the client for approval before implementation.

 

4. Client Responsibilities:

A. Health and Fitness:

Clients are responsible for assessing their own health and fitness levels for the chosen safari.

Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking.

B. Travel Insurance:

We strongly recommend that clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen events.

Nyanji African Safaris is not responsible for any costs incurred due to lack of insurance coverage.

C. Travel Documentation:

Clients are responsible for ensuring that they possess the necessary travel documents; visas, and health insurance required for the safari.

Failure to meet these requirements will result in the client being excluded from the safari without entitlement to a refund.

 

5. Liability:

A. Limitation of Liability:

Nyanji African Safaris shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused during the safari, whether due to acts of nature, negligence, or any other cause.

 

6. Clients participate in our safaris at their own risk.

A. Assumption of Risk:

Clients must sign a liability waiver acknowledging the inherent risks associated with wildlife safaris and the assumption of personal responsibility.

B. Force Majeure:

Nyanji African Safaris is not responsible for disruptions or cancellations due to force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, or acts of terrorism.

 

7. Miscellaneous:

A. Photography:

Nyanji African Safaris reserves the right to use any photographs or videos taken during the safari for promotional purposes unless otherwise specified by the client.

 

9. Jurisdiction:

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Uganda.

Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Uganda.

By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these detailed terms and conditions.
